Midwife Reinstated By Nursing and Midwifery Council

Independent Midwives UK are delighted that their colleague and member Debs Purdue has been reinstated as a midwife, following an appeal to the High Court and a second hearing at the NMC to reconsider the original verdict. She has agreed to the twelve months conditions of practice imposed by the new panel on Friday 26th February and we welcome her return to midwifery following an extremely stressful and difficult time for her and her family.
