Crowdfunding for childbirth

Welcome to the concept of ‘CrowdFunding’, a simple but ingenious way of helping to build the funds we need for IM UK to be able to contract our services into the NHS - making them available for all women, regardless of their ability to pay.

 

Rather than be totally reliant on investment loans or other corporate funding, we are asking all of our individual supporters to each contribute a small amount and, by doing so, become part of the groundswell for change.

 

Independent Midwives UK are poised to start the first phase of an innovative and ground breaking venture. We have two Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) keen to work with us and have successfully applied for some Grant funding from the Dep’t of Health but more is needed and this is where you come in!

 

We passionately believe that, for any change to be sustainable and bring about genuine and lasting improvements in the provision of midwifery care, it needs a coalition of midwives and women and their families to work together. By making a contribution today you are helping us take one step closer to realising our vision.

from anyone and everyone who shares our passion to build a holistic and humane midwifery service for ALL women.
